What do you look for in vendors?

Our goal with Bijou Market is to be on or ahead of trends. We want each vendor to be successful as we know how much work goes into selling at a market of this size. Variety is key so we try to only take 1 or 2 of any type of shop to avoid crossover. We make our decisions based on the information given in your application, with a special focus on price points. Be sure that your online presence, product photos, and your booth display convey the message that best represents your shop.

When did Bijou Market start?


Our first event was in Spring 2009! We have done 2-3 markets each year ever since at different venues across Utah and Salt Lake Counties.  We created Bijou Market because we wanted a place to sell our own handmade goods and the other events in the area's fees felt too risky for newcomers like us. We were selling products we didn't know if people would like or if we'd even make our money back. We have  always kept Bijou Market fees low to encourage creators to take a chance on their ideas and products. Our market was a resource at the very beginning for brands like Freshly Picked, Solly Baby, Kortni Jeane, and so many more.
